This food tech start-up (watch for them on Dragon's Den) need a data room where current and potential investors could access business information to conduct due diligence. We started from scratch, building financials, business plans, pitch decks, gathering data from several sources. This not only created a great data room for their 1st round of raising, but allowed them to create and compile key business information in a shared business drive for internal use. No fancy or expensive data room storage services needed - just a google drive and determination.

Loan Acquisition: Creating Financial Statements
We provided PM, bookkeeping, finance and advisory services for this well known retail business looking to purchase a building. The organization needed capital for retail expansion. We provided a summary of commercial loan offerings, a short-list of mortgage brokers, and a leasing vs buying analysis. We than provided a breakdown of the actions and next steps needed to submit applications to lenders and to complete the building purchase and initiate construction. We compiled in-house (non-audited) historical financials and 3 years post-project pro formas. In addition, we submitted a short-list of contractors including quotes and timelines.

HR Platform Migration
This fast-growing startup in BC of 150+ employees needed to move to a payroll provider more suited to their needs. They needed a PM to work with the old and new providers, the leadership group, and employees to seamlessly transition within a 3-month period. This small leadership group was hands-off on this project except for one manager who was installed as payroll coordinator post project. Working with the providers implementation team, we ensured all necessary data was transferred over, created mock pay runs during test period, created a training schedule for supervisors and staff, and post-live support. We used a feedback loop of test, pivot, learn so errors were quickly remedied.
